You can volunteer at our Brilliant Bamboo Brownfield Parklet in Stoke Town, or be a part of that and our emerging projects, including Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener, curious about bamboo, or simply want to make a difference locally, we’d love your help. Tasks include:
- Caring for bamboo and other plants
- Site upkeep and clearance
- Building with bamboo and other materials
- Observing nature and auditing our sites
- Supporting our events
No experience needed—just bring suitable clothes, sturdy shoes, and good energy. We’ll provide tools, gloves, and guidance. If suitable clothes and shoes are a barrier, please don’t let that stop you from getting in touch, and we will try to help.
