You are invited to join our Community Mudlark and Make session with artist Livvy Azzopardi at the Brilliant Bamboo Brownfield Parklet in Stoke, ST4 4AH.
On Saturday 28 February, we’re inviting a small number of you to safely mudlark with Livvy and the Brilliant Bamboo team to make a new mosaic artwork for the site, which will fill another hole from the site’s industrial past. The new mosaic will be unveiled as part of an event on Saturday 14 March: 12pm – 3pm, for all to attend.
Together we will spend some time mudlarking at the site, a former pottery works (Trent and Crescent) from 1868 – 1957. The site has since been demolished, and in the soils of the space we have thousands of shards from the works and beyond.

Due to the nature of the activity we have a limited capacity, with tickets only for those age 16 and over. We will be working outdoors, in February in a site with no hard power.
Hot and cold drinks, snacks and lunch will be provided. As will gloves and any other PPE, and materials. Please dress for the weather and site.
Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to let us know about any access requirements.
