Join us for an unforgettable celebration of creativity, community, and the natural wonder of bamboo – right in the heart of Newcastle Town Centre!
We’ve teamed up with internationally acclaimed NoFit State Circus, immersive creators Pif Paf Theatre, and our Brilliant Bamboo team to bring you a day packed with free performances, hands-on activities, and inspiring ideas for people and the planet.
BAMBOO by NoFit State Circus
NoFit State circus bring their show BAMBOO, a spectacular high impact, high-skill outdoor circus production using only bamboo and the human bodies – revealing the fragility and beauty of our interconnected and interdependent life on this planet.
Performance times: 12pm & 3pm.
Directed by Mish Weaver in collaboration with Orit Azaz and Imagineer Productions.
Right To Play by Pif Paf Theatre
Right To Play by Pif Paf is a project mixing theatre with play. It starts from Article 31 of the UN Convention on the rights of the child. It aims to inspire us to overcome the barriers to play ourselves and create worlds through play with our families and communities.


Right To Play is a collaborative self built play world – Build dens, balance, swing, jump and explore the Mud Kitchen – families of all ages can find a way to play and enjoy the unique world created.
Running continuously: 11am – 4pm
