Last year Dortmund hosted the first European Bamboo Expo. Hans Friedrich opened the Expo for Bamboologic and used an image of our partners #ImagineBamboo as part of the Commonwealth Games. I loved being amongst an international community of bamboo experts and enthusiasts.

Our collaborator, Michael Brisbane was also in attendance, and we heard from so many excellent speakers about their work across themes. It was great to meet Susanne Lucas from the World Bamboo Organisation as part of the visit too. It was great context for our next steps following on from our Imagine Bamboo at Keele Green Festival.
