We’ve been collaborating with a Staffordshire jewellery maker, Jo Robinson from Lovely Little Sparrow, to create our own first edition* of Brownfield Sherd Pendants: 15/18 remain!

It’s important to us, that you know the sherds are from Brilliant Bamboo Brownfield site – some maybe George Jones & Sons/Crescent Pottery originals – or general pottery waste used from our area as aggregate as part of the demolition and interim use of the site.

Together with friends and visitors of the brownfield we pick up sherds found when they are uncovered, and prioritise selecting those we can clean and make into our lovely pendants, to start.

Most importantly, the funds raised from our new range will pay for their creation and enable Brilliant Bamboo to continue to work and deliver our projects at the Brownfield Parklet.

They include:

• A printed giftbox in cardboard, and black paper sourced from Longport for easy recycling.

• Black cord, which have been re-used rather than sent to landfill.

• A Brownfield Sherd cleaned to make safe and usable with either: Stainless Steel ring or Silver-plated. Please read the description if this matters to you.
